weekend recap…

This weekend was definitely a great one. Amazing dinner at Dimitri’s friday then shenangigans at Monkey Bar. Saturday I played at Pure for the first time in a few years and it was amazing! Place was insanely packed! At the end of the night when the lights came on everyone was cheering for one more track. Looks like I will be there monthly now. Sunday bring at Rouge as usual then chilled in the park. Looking forward to next weekend - Philly Vice boat party then after partyat Liberty Bar…look out now!

Comcast and Twitter.

Ok so this morning I was getting ready to head out…my bedroom is ground level on the street. so ’ standing there then hear what sounds like a big truck come down my street then I hear something snap and smack against my building..so I look out the blinds and see the actual cables from the telephone pole laying in the street and across the car parked in front of mine.

I go outside and see that they are the cables for comcast and the cable going into my building is pulled out partially and now on the sidewalk and my upstairs neighbors cable was totally ripped out of the wall. The cables were hanging from the pole, laying in the street and across the sidewalk.

So being a twitter addict (http://www.twitter.com/markpappas) I bitch about it on Twitter this morning. A few mins ago I get a response from frank(comcastcares) asking me if I could use his help. Fucking Genius!! Comcast has someone full time manning twitter for any mentions of comcast. such a genius idea!

Suddenly they look a tiny bit less evil.

Update: Just got a new twitter message “Tech is on his way” that was faster than getting through the 1800 comcast menu!

Update2: jesus just got a call now from comcast telling me they are out there working on it.  

Mark Pappas Studio Update

Been busy the past few days in the studio working on a remix for Dj Dove - My Woman. Taking it techy and chunky - definitely more of a dub than the original.
